Comedienne Miranda Hart looked dazzling in Anna’s crepe jersey triangle dress at Saturday’s British Comedy Awards.

She picked up three awards at the ceremony: Best New TV Comedy Show, Best Female Comedy Actress and the People’s Choice Award. The event was hosted by Jonathan Ross and aired live on Channel 4.

“My darling daughter gave me a self-made present on my 40^th birthday,” Ellen wrote us. “I needed my Anna to get me through this day!”

“Here I am rocking my beautiful Anna Scholz dress on New Years Eve!” Jennifer wrote us from Minneapolis. “I attended a wedding reception that evening held in an architectural antique shop – hence my posh surroundings. I love the dress!”

Yvonne sent us a few photos of her wearing an Anna Scholz silk maxi wrap dress at her wedding to Geoff, which took place on December 18, 2010.

“I purchased the dress from Emma Plus in Brighton earlier in 2010,” Yvonne wrote, “where the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The dress certainly helped me to have a wonderful day”.

Daphne Ooms, our agent for the Benelux region, reported back to us about the Plus Model Awards event she attended this past autumn in Belgium.

Daphne wrote: Plus Model Awards is a Belgian modelling contest with just that bit extra!

The grand finale of edition 2011 was held on the 10th of November. Eighteen finalists gave their absolute best in a spectacular catwalk show.

Sarah Schroeyens, last year’s winner, passed the crown to the 2011 Plus Model Mélanie Van Houdt.

The Winner

Anna Scholz provided the dresses for the “cocktail” theme, and Mélanie also received a long black sequinned evening dress from Anna as a prize.

The girls really rocked the stage, which was much appreciated by the large crowd that showed up for this event.

Helene sent us this photo all the way from snowy Canada. She’s wearing Anna’s fab orange leather biker jacket which she ordered specially from the shop in Berlin.

We’re very excited about Beth Ditto’s upcoming autobiography, Coal to Diamonds, which is  expected to hit shelves in the autumn of 2011. She’s has a debut solo album due out soon too!

Beth is the super-cool front woman for The Gossip and the idol of plus-size women everywhere!  She is talented, intelligent, original and fearless with fashion!
