This Took a Doggone Long Time!
I just had to share this needlepoint creation because it took me about a year and a half to finish! It’s for my stepmother. She wants one for each dog she has owned in her life. This is the Springer Spaniel and he’s called “The Viscount”. I’ve now started the Dalmation who’s called “The Aristocrat”.
Every so often while I was working on it, I’d look down and think, “Wow, I’m spending hours of my life needlepointing a dog in aristocratic clothing! What does this say about me?”
Needless to say, she was most appreciative. Luckily she does needlepoint herself, so she understands how time-consuming it is. She says never give needlepoint away to someone who doesn’t do it themselves.
