Tanesha Awasthi posted some lovely photos on her Girl With Curves blog of her modelling pieces from Anna’s Spring-Summer 2013 White Label collection. Here she is looking fab in Anna’s chic blue tailoring suit as well as the silk back cut-out dress in a mix of Anna’s quirky-sophisticated zoology print.

Tanesha visited with Anna recently when she was in town for London Fashion Week as part of her prize package for winning navabi’s 2012 Curvy Blog Award.

Lisa Riley came by the studio last week to try on clothes from Anna’s Spring-Summer 2013 collection. She selected several glamorous dresses for various events she’s attending in the near future: she will presenting the award for Best Soap at the upcoming British Soap Awards; she will be a judge on Dance for Comic Relief; and she plans to wear one of Anna’s designs for the cover shot of her now-in-progress book! She also has a sitcom in the works and is generally in high demand to appear at events. We don’t know when she has time to breathe!

Daina sent us this photo all the way from Australia. OK, she admits it’s not her smiliest moment… She wrote, “I don’t know why my face is like that; I am always thrilled when I wear this dress.”  : )

“Here is a photo of me in the top I got at the end of the season!,” Kirsten wrote in.

Broadcaster, writer and entertainer Amy Lamé stopped by the studio earlier this week to try on clothes from Anna’s Spring-Summer 2013 collection. She will be photographed in Anna’s designs in the next issue of Volup2, the online magazine produced by Velvet d’Amour.

One of the main events during last weekend’s British Plus Size Fashion Weekend was a Styling Masterclass held by Image Consultant, Hannah Jean.  Anna Scholz was happy to loan pieces from her Spring-Summer 2013 collections to the workshop.

“As part of the session we looked at body shape, personal style and SS13 trends,” Hannah reported on her Find My Style blog. “The response from everyone was great and we loved being a part of the event.”

Blogger Sarah Jane Potter had lots of helpful tips in her article about the colour aspect of the class for Evolve magazine:

“If you can find the right colour to suit your skintone, you don’t have to wear as much makeup! Big bonus in my book! Drape a colour over your shoulder, directly next to your face to see which colours suit you. There will inevitably be a colour that makes you look radiant almost immediately and other colours that completely wash you out. A quick colour test will tell you what colour is the winner for you. Keep these colours in mind for those shopping trips!”

Last Friday, Anna had a chance to mingle with model and blogger, Tanesha Awasthi, and the navabi team. Tanesha’s blog Girl With Curves was the winner of navabi’s Best Curvy Blog Award 2012. Part of her prize package was a trip to London for London Fashion Week and to meet Anna Scholz.

Tanesha said she loved meeting Anna, one of her “curvy sheroes,” and the feeling was quite mutual. As Tanesha wrote on her blog, “the morning consisted of lots of fashion chat, browsing Anna’s Spring & Fall 2013 Collections, and of course, me finding a way to get my hands on some of the clothes!”
