These 3D portraits of fashions most influential figures are created by a Hong Kong artist named May Sum. Using lipsticks from brands such as Mac, Nars and and YSL, May carves away at each stick to end up with these masterpieces. Sculptures of women in fashion power include Madonna, Lady Gaga, Coco Chanel, Diana, Princess of Wales, Twiggy, Kate Moss, Vivienne Westwood, Susie Bubble, Anna Wintour, Iris Apfel and Victoria Beckham
May prides herself as a multi-media artist and Asia’s first lipstick sculptor, recently showcasing her first Asia Lipstick Sculpture Exhibition, themed Fashion Icon. She sells her lipstick sculptures on her ‘wahahafactory’ Etsy shop for £280 to £420 each, even taking custom designs.
