Kirsten sent us this photo of her with her husband. “I love this dress,” Kirsten wrote us, “and always feel great when I wear it and I also get many compliments!”

“This pic was taken at Michael Caine’s restaurant in Chester” Lisa wrote to us. “I love this Debbie Harry photo art on the wall – I would need an Anna Scholz dress to feel brave enough to stand beside beautiful Blondie. I think this dress does the job as that print is quite a work of art too!”

Karen wrote us, “This was last summer’s dress, that I still love so much! I lost 15kg since this picture, but I still wear it. It is so well tailored that it doesn’t look silly although I dropped one size.”

We think Lisa Riley looks absolutely stunning in Anna’s double silk cowl neck maxi dress in the teal dandelion print. The Strictly Come Dancing star wore this dress to the 2013 TRIC Awards on Tuesday.

Rianne Ward, co-creator of the British Plus-Size Fashion Weekend shared these stunning photos of Anna’s looks from the event’s catwalk show*. The event, which was held over the weekend of Feb 15-16, was a great success. Anna participated in a discussion panel, the catwalk show, and loaned clothes to the Styling Masterclass.

Lisa Riley came by the studio last week to try on clothes from Anna’s Spring-Summer 2013 collection. She selected several glamorous dresses for various events she’s attending in the near future: she will presenting the award for Best Soap at the upcoming British Soap Awards; she will be a judge on Dance for Comic Relief; and she plans to wear one of Anna’s designs for the cover shot of her now-in-progress book! She also has a sitcom in the works and is generally in high demand to appear at events. We don’t know when she has time to breathe!

Daina sent us this photo all the way from Australia. OK, she admits it’s not her smiliest moment… She wrote, “I don’t know why my face is like that; I am always thrilled when I wear this dress.”  : )

Valerie of Blog to Be Alive stepped out in Anna’s fairytale print jersey shirt dress recently. Love how she styled it with the purple and black heeled boots!

Television presenter, Anne Diamond recently wrote an article for The Daily Mail online edition in which she praised the positive changes being made in the fashion industry with regards to choice for plus-size women.

“…I’ve noticed something incredible has happened in the past two or three years,” wrote Diamond. “Finally, fashion has fallen in love with fat”.

Anna’s Smoke print silk triangle dress (pictured) from her Spring-Summer 2013 White Label collection was at the top of Diamond’s list for reasons why the future of fashion is looking bright for curvier women.

Anna Scholz puts the body and clothing into a working relationship. Her garments are created based on a curvy size 18 and then graded down to a size 12 and up to a size 28, respectively, keeping curvy proportions in mind.

Sarah Bottomley, head of brand at SimplyBe (where Anna also designs a popular diffusion line), appreciates the skill that goes into creating fashionable and flattering plus-size clothes. “You have to know how to work with big boobs and bums and tums,” says Bottomley, “and that takes real technical know-how.”
